Terms of service
The rules for using Outing Golf and organizing or joining an event.
Effective October 15, 2026Using Outing Golf
Outing Golf is run by Outing Golf LLC. By signing up or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old. If you act for a group, you must have its permission.
Your account
Give us accurate information. Keep your password safe and tell us if someone uses your account without permission. Do not share private invitation links or other people’s information.
Running an event
Organizers must give clear, accurate details about the event, costs, deadlines, and cancellations. Get permission to invite people and use their information only to run the event. Give co-organizer access only to people you trust.
You are responsible for the event, course arrangements, refunds, payment disputes, and any taxes or fundraising rules. Follow the law and the course’s rules. Keep attendees informed when plans change.
Payments
For card payments, the event organizer’s connected Stripe account is the merchant receiving the money. Outing Golf takes no application fee from attendee payments during the free beta. Stripe charges its own fees. Greens fees are pass-through event costs, not organizer income.
To accept cards, organizers must provide accurate identity, tax, and payout details and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. You allow Outing Golf to create direct event charges on your connected account and check payment, refund, dispute, and payout status.
Organizers set prices and explain what they cover. They handle refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and taxes, and must keep enough funds to cover amounts owed. Stripe controls verification, fees, reserves, payouts, and account restrictions. We cannot promise approval, payout timing, or a dispute outcome.
Venmo, cash, and other off-platform payments are not processed or guaranteed by Outing Golf. A “reported paid” label means the attendee reported payment; it is not confirmation that money arrived. Contact the organizer about payment problems.
Free beta and future changes
Outing Golf is currently free to use. Capacity and reasonable-use limits may apply. Features may change or be unavailable during maintenance or outages. Keep copies of information you need for your event. We will show any future price before you pay.
We may add sponsor placements later. We will update our Privacy Policy before changing tracking practices. We do not currently use ad-network tracking.
Your content and fair use
You own the content you submit. You give us permission to store, copy, format, display, and deliver it as needed to run, secure, and improve Outing Golf.
Do not break the law, spam people, scrape private data, attack the site, or post harmful or unlawful content. Do not mislead people about an event, fundraising, or payments. Respect other people’s privacy and rights.
Other services
We use Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare, Upstash, and Stripe to run the service. Their own terms apply to their services. We do not control golf courses, organizers, or outside services.
Leaving or losing access
You can stop using Outing Golf at any time. Use Account settings to delete your account, or follow our data-deletion instructions. Deleting an organizer account also deletes its events and related app records. Stripe may block account closure while balances or other obligations remain.
We may suspend or end access to address fraud, abuse, security risks, or repeated rule violations. Payment duties, content ownership, liability limits, and dispute terms still apply after your account closes.
Service limits and responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Outing Golf is provided “as is” and “as available.” We cannot promise uninterrupted service, accurate user content, attendance, safety, good weather, or a particular event or payment outcome.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for claims about the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid directly to Outing Golf in the 12 months before the claim. Event payments to organizers do not count as fees paid to us.
These limits do not remove rights or responsibilities that the law does not let us limit.
Disputes
The laws of Florida govern these Terms. Unless the law requires otherwise, disputes will be handled in courts in Hillsborough County, Florida. We do not require arbitration.
Changes and contact
We will post updated Terms with a new effective date. For material changes, we will announce them in the app or by email. Continuing to use Outing Golf after a change takes effect means you accept it. We will ask for consent when required by law.
