Delete in Account settings

Outing Golf is for people aged 18 and older.

Sign in and open Account settings. At the bottom of Profile, choose “Delete my account.” Read the warning, type DELETE, and confirm. This permanently removes your account and linked app data after any required Stripe account closure succeeds.

Deleting an organizer account also deletes events it owns and related event records. Tell attendees and save anything you need before you delete.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email mattconway26@gmail.com from your account email. Use the subject “Outing Golf data deletion request.” Include your display name and any event names that help us find your records.

We verify that you control the account before deleting data. We may ask you to reply from your account email or sign in. Never email us passwords, card numbers, or identity documents. We will respond and finish verified email requests within 30 days. If a legal duty or an unresolved Stripe obligation prevents full deletion, we will explain what remains and why within that time.

What is removed

Deletion removes your login account, profile, owned events and uploaded event covers, RSVPs, team links, poll votes, and account-linked payment-status records. We also remove matching waitlist, invitation, and poll-recipient records tied to your account email. Other people’s copies of messages you sent may remain with them.

What may remain

Limited records may remain when needed for security, fraud prevention, taxes, payment records, disputes, or other legal duties. Backup copies may remain until the provider’s normal backup cycle ends. We may keep statistics that no longer identify you.

Stripe records

If Outing Golf created a connected Stripe account for you, deletion asks Stripe to close that account first. Stripe may prevent closure while balances or other obligations remain. Contact us if that blocks deletion.

Deleting your Outing Golf account does not automatically erase Stripe’s records or reverse event payments. Stripe may keep information under its own policies and legal duties. Contact your organizer about event refunds.
